Our esteemed brother and sister had been married '''over 70 years'''. Both were saved on June 19, 1930, just two hours apart after attending meetings by J. Watt in Barrington, N.J. Both were received into fellowship in Camden, N.J. where they continued steadfastly until they retired in 1963 and moved to [[Florida]]. From that time on, they were in fellowship in North Tampa, where our brother was an elder for many years. Otto and Alice were very faithful to all the meetings and very helpful in the assembly. Bro. Harding, along with W. Moon, T. Williams, and R. Greer, was instrumental in founding the Longport Home, where he served on the Board of Trustees for many years. They are survived by one son David and four grandchildren."

Pell had the privilege of sharing the funeral services in Grand Haven.

Thomson''', of Pittsburgh, [[Pennsylvania|PA]], who was fifty years in fellowship in the Freindship Friendship Avenue assembly, departed this life to be "with Christ" which is "far better." A quiet, devoted sister whose life and testimony will have its proper appraisal from God. She is missed by her many friends here, and also at Longport Home where she spent the closing days of her earthly life."

For about 25 years, he was in fellowship at Bryn Mawr before coming to Longport Home in 1984. He leaves two sons and a daughter, all awaiting reunion in heaven. One son, Gilbert, serves the Lord in the [[Republic of Ireland]].

She worked at one time at the Longport Home for the Aged as a nurse, and was working in a hospital in Dallas, [[Texas]] at the time of her homecall. Ruth was the eldest daughter of Frank and Grace Baker of the Toronto, OH assembly. Remember in prayer her parents, a brother, Frederick and a sister, Glenna. All are comforted by that blessed hope."

Ireland]] and attended gospel meetings by Benjamin Bradford and H. McEwen in Philadelphia. At the third meeting, George embraced the truth of the gospel which marked his life with a happy spirit, a keen interest in the Word and a great value for God's gathering centre. He served faithfully as a Trustee at the Longport Home for a number of years. He leaves his widow Charlotte at the Home. The well represented funeral was shared by William and David Oliver.

On Jan. 3, 1920, she attended her first gospel meeting in Philadelphia and was awakened and saved that evening. She was in fellowship in the 20th and Dickinson assembly until 1958 when she moved to Bryn Mawr. Miss Scott served as a child nurse and raised two generations of one family. She was marked by a thankful spirit and had a keen interest in the assembly and gospel work."

On Dec. 23, 1916, during meetings by W. Armstrong and G. Winemiller, she was saved through 1 Pet. 2:24. Apart from the 11 years she and her husband Waverly were in fellowship in [[Kentucky]], she was in the Matoaca, VA assembly until coming to the Home in 1980. She maintained a deep interest in the welfare of the Matoaca assembly. Her sweet disposition and kind smile will be missed."

He was born again at the age of 27 and was received into the fellowship of the Friendship assembly in Pittsburgh and later was in McKeesport. About 10 years ago, he moved to Somers Point, N.J. and was in fellowship in the Longport assembly. He went to be with the Lord after a brief illness."

She was in the Schoolcraft assembly, [[Michigan|Detroit]], and then in the [[Illinois|Joliet]] assembly before going to the Longport Home. She leaves two nephews, one in the New Lenox assembly, and one living in [[California]]. The funeral was held in the Gospel Hall Home for the Aged, Longport, N.J."

She was in assembly fellowship in Toronto and Steubenville since 1918 and at the Home at Longport, N.J. for the last 4 1/2 years. She was a faithful mother in Israel who will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Firm was predeceased by her husband William in 1974 and by a son in 1986. She leaves three sons, one still unsaved, and a daughter in assembly fellowship. The large funeral was taken by Oswald MacLeod, with H. Clark speaking at the graveside."

In 1926, she was united in marriage to John P. Conaway, well known servant of the Lord, to whom she was a true helpmeet until he was taken home in 1951. Mrs. Conaway had a good grasp of assembly truths and was steadfast in her convictions to the end. Her spirit of contentment and appreciation of the care given her in the Home was an inspiration to others. The funeral was taken by O.L. MacLeod, who was associated with Mr. Conaway in his early days."

She and her husband Ernest, who predeceased her in 1980, were in happy fellowship in Everett, PA for many years. In 1975 they moved to the Bryn Mawr assembly. Christine resided in the Longport Home since 1983. She had a faithful testimony in the school district where she taught for 44 years. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Dennison, and two nephews who mourn her passing but await the shout."

Mrs. Randolph leaves one son and one sister, both saved by the grace of God."

** With Christ: "'''Mrs. Vernon Slate''' of Longport, N.J. on April 28, age 85. Our dear sister was brought up in Petersburg, [[Virginia]] near the Gospel Hall. She attended Sunday School, and after marrying Thomas Hardy, was saved there through the preaching of the late Samuel McEwen in 1931. After she was widowed, she worked during 1960 in the Longport Home. In 1976, she and her husband, Linwood Slade, moved into the Home. Her friends will miss her gentle, kind and cheerful Christian manner. The funeral service was taken by David Oliver."
