Thomas Edgar Chambers was born in Belfast, [[Northern Ireland]] on July 19, 1922 and came to the U.S. when he was four, his family settled at 18 Sherman Ave., Morristown, New Jersey. Thomas Edgar remained in Morristown until 1960 when he relocated to Wyckoff where he lived the remainder of his life. In his younger years, he had blonde hair and gray eyes, with a light complexion. He was the only child of his parents, the son of Thomas J. Chambers, a housepainter. His mother's name was Ann.
