[[Assemblee Chretienne Evangelique de La Pocatiere, QC|Assemblée Chrétienne Evangélique]], La PocatierePocatière, Kamouraska, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Southeast [[Quebec|Québec]], [[Canada]] was a French open brethren assembly founded in 1979, and active thru 2007.

Assemblée Chrétienne de La Pocatière was launched in September 1979 under the leadership of [[Jean-Pierre Cloutier]], a radio-announcer who had arrived in La Pocatière two years earlier. Jean-Pierre had come from Sorel where he had become a believer five years earlier. Meetings began in homes before moving on to rented quarters. By 1983, some twenty-five people were gathering in the basement of a business complex where the assembly continued to meet for a half-dozen years. In the meantime, by 1986, the Cloutiers had returned to Sorel.

In the meantime, by 1986, the Cloutiers had returned to Sorel. The assembly carried on without a resident worker for the rest of its existence. Commended workers [[René Lavoie]] and his wife Simone, labouring at Montmagny, thirty-five miles upstream along the St-Lawrence River, took the assembly under their wing. However, by the turn of the century, only two families were left, one of these, Paul and Anita Marceau were holding the work together. By now, the group was meeting in a local school in Saint-Pascal, some twenty miles further downstream from its original location. The assembly officially closed in 2007.
