Saved many years ago in Bay City, [[Michigan|Mich.]], she came to Detroit and through the years was in happy fellowship in Central, West Chicago Blvd., and Stark Road Gospel Halls. She bore a quiet testimony and suffered much and patiently this last number of years being confined to home, hospital and nursing homes; now at rest with the Lord. The funeral serve in Detroit was taken by William Pell and at the cemetery in Bay City by William Mowat."

Born in [[Scotland]], where he was saved as a young man, he went to [[Canada]] about 50 years ago (1905). After some years in fellowship at Toronto, with Mrs. Walker he moved some 30 years ago (1924) to Detroit, where they have since been in fellowship with Central and West Chicago Blvd. assemblies. Faithfully served the Lord and maintained a consistent testimony, he will be missed by his wife, two sons, three daughters and several grandchildren."
