* Margaret Emma Barber (1866-1930)
** British missionary in China, initially as an Anglican, then Independent with informal ties to the PB. She taught a Bible class in Foochow at "White Teeth Rock" that Watchman Nee attended while a student at Anglican Trinity College, and introduced him to PB and other writers. She left her Bible to Nee when she died, and a volume of her poems to her niece, Miss Ballord, who published them, and they were adapted as hymns.
