==Marriage==
On Jan. 8, 1948 (or Aug. 1, 1948) he married Frances Lucille Smiley of Staples, [[Minnesota|MN]]. Frances was born in 1921 to Elsworth Ellsworth James Smiley (b. 1884 Menominie, Dunn, [[Wisconsin|WI]] - d. 1973 Saint Maries, Benewah, [[Idaho|ID]]) and Vina May Estabrooks Smiley (b. 1894 Osage, Becker, [[Minnesota|MN]] - d. 1977 Saint Maries, Benewah, [[Idaho|ID]]). Ellsworth worked 31 years for the Northern Pacific Railway in [[Minnesota]] before relocating to [[Idaho]] in 1949. Frances had five siblings, including Gladys Smiley DuCommun (St. Maries, ID).
Elsworth was the son of George Covert Smiley (b. 1860 Nelson, Buffalo, [[Minnesota|MN]] - d. 1936 Todd, Hubbard, [[Minnesota|MN]]) & Caroline "Carrie" Davis Smiley (b. 1859 Spring Brook, Dunn, [[Wisconsin|WI]] - d. 1934 Todd, Hubbard, [[Minnesota|MN]].
==Death==
Leslie and Frances both died in the Seattle area where they had lived since 1974. Frances died first in 2004, and then her husband on July 29, 2011 in Kenmore, King, [[Washington|WA]].
