The assembly meeting at Pembroke was a French Kelly-Lowe-Continental assembly that had been meeting in [[Calumet Island]], [[Quebec|QC]]. It was decided, as the meeting declined in numbers, to move the meeting to Pembroke, [[Ontario|ON]] as two of the three families were from Pembroke, ON opposed to the one family from Calumet Island, QC.
