Gunnard Lindberg, Donald Allison, Merrill Allison, John Cole, and James Bottomley were those involved in the start-up of that assembly. These and James Loizeaux, Kenneth Cole, and Harold Collette have been its leaders. The Grace Chapel assembly has commended workers to the Lord’s field in Puerto Rico. About 30 adults and youngsters attended Grace Chapel.
1955 is when the assembly first appeared in the address book. The Lord's Supper was generally held at 9:45am (1956: 10am), and the Family Bible Hour & Sunday School generally held at 11:00am (1956: 11:30am). There was a Gospel meeting held from the early days on Sunday evenings until 1986. In 1955, it was held at 7pm, 1956 at 7:45pm, 1958-1960 at 7:30pm, then 1961-1985 at 7:00pm.
There was a bible study and prayer meeting in 1955 on Wednesdays at 8pm, then in 1956 moved to Tuesdays at the same time, with a missionary meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. By 1958, the prayer meeting moved back to Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm until 2003 when it changed to 7:300pm.
