Bill operated a grocery store in Toronto, and authored ''The Road Home'', on the work in Scotland and elsewhere, published in 1983 by Clarion Press. A recollection includes a visit from F.W. Schwartz of Montreal who inquired about notable people in Bill's assembly in Toronto, whom he recounted in order of where they sat in the room, in fine detail.
