* Dr. [[Walter Lee Nutt I ]] '''+1933-1958?''' (b. 1891 IA - d. 1960 Des Moines, IA), self-employed podiatrist. Son of Jefferson A. Nutt (1858-1907 Boone Co., IA) and his 1st wife Anna K. Sears Nutt (b. 1858 Peoria, IL - d. 1897). In 1898, Jefferson remarried Mary Emma McHaffie (b. 1865 IN - d. 1931 Des Moines, IA) who was previously married to Jefferson's brother George W. Nutt (1866-1897).
Jefferson was "a well known Chicago & Northwest railroad conductor", in fellowship with the Capitol Hill Church of Christ. Anna moved with her parents in 1868 to Lawrence, [[Kansas]] where she graduated high school, and because a school teacher in nearby Clay Co. They were married in 1879, moving to Jefferson's home county of Boone in 1880. Anna became a Christian early in life, and was in fellowship with the Meadow Grove Church of Christ, she became ill in 1894 after the birth of her youngest child (of eight), and died at the age of 39 three years later.
