* Henry Andrew Short 1958-1992? (b. 1935 Vandyke, Macomb, MI - d. July 6, 2018 Carlisle, IA). Army Veteran of the Korean War. Son of Earl Elsworth Short (b. 1902 East Des Moines, IA - d. 1976 Des Moines, IA) & Irene E. Jackson Short (b. 1906 Knoxville, Marion, IA - d. 1975 Des Moines, IA). Earl Short was a son of Henry Winfield Short (b. 1855 Washington Co., IN - d. 1913 Elkhart, Polk, IA) & Rose Ann "Anna" Lepley Short-Tilton (b. 1857 IA - d. 1926 Des Moines, IA). After Henry Winfield Short died, Anna remarried George William Tilton (b. 1854 Fayette, IL - d. d. 1938 Des Moines, IA), a school janitor. Henry's family moved from Michigan to Des Moines in 1948 when Henry was 13, he attended a gospel meeting there when he was 23, and was led to the Lord by Ron Reeves, and discipled by Clifford Henry Brown until 1961 when Henry married Agnes, and C.H. and his wife Bertha relocated to California. He Henry was the first in his immediate family to be saved. Henry was subsequently discipled by Norman Berry, and his mother may have come to Christ later in lifeas well as Irvin Klassen (see Who's Who at Aberdeen Meeting Room, but it is unknown of his father or siblingsID).
* Agnes E. Roossinck Short 1961-present - m. 1961 @ Grand Rapids, MI, where she was raised in that assembly. Daughter of John William Roossinck (b. 1912 Germany) & Minnie Roossinck (b. 1913 Reeman, MI - d. 2004 Walker, Kent, MI). Her mother's parents were third cousins of her father's parents. John and Minnie were married in 1935 in Reeman, MI, Minnie was living in Reeman, and John in Grand Rapids, employed as an electrician. John was a son of Johann Roossinck & Elizabeth Sager Roossinck. Minnie was a daughter of Alex Roossinck (b. 1884 Bentheim, Germany - d. 1953 Reeman, Newaygo, MI) & Trientje Roossinck (b. 1889 Groningen, Netherlands - d. 1953 Reeman, Newaygo, MI). It is thought that Agnes' family was introduced to the assemblies when C.H. Brown & John McMillan came thru the Grand Rapids area, before Agnes' time.
