Strong little guy who worked in an iron factory, and was saved and initially became a Baptist pastor, and went up to Minneapolis to do some preaching and there was a cute gal playing the organ, named Helen Leonard. He built a house for her in Des Moines, and ordered a Sears & Roebuck house, and the nearest railhead was in Minnesota, and he made several trips with a horse and wagon to bring the materials to Des Moines, to E. 14th St., to build this house. One of his descendants married a president of the Gideons in 1975 or 1976. Did itinerant work with C.H. Brown for many years.
