Anna Mabel "Mercy" Roberts Loizeaux was born March 24, 1845 in Westford, Otsego, [[New York]], the daughter of Leander Roberts (1817-1900) and Fannie Elizabeth Howe Roberts (1821-1902). She was married to Timothy Ophir Loizeaux (b. 1843 [[France]] - d. 1927 Plainfield, N.J.), one of the founders of the Loizeaux Brothers publishing, initially among the Grant exclusives then open brethren. Anna penned [[Sketches For My Grandchildren - Loizeaux|Sketches For My Grandchildren]] in 1915, stories of her family.
