Moody had a brother named Warren Lyman Moody (b. 1838 Northfield, MA - d. 1936 Gardner, KS) whose wife Ellen (1846-1924) was a childhood friend of Anna Mercy Mabel Roberts Loizeaux, wife of Timothy Loizeaux, cofounder of Loizeaux Publishers.
