Wife: Eliza Jane Burley Owen '''1889-1913''' (b. 1858 [[Illinois|IL]] - d. 1944 San Diego, CA), married 1876 @ Christian Co., IL. Eliza was the daughter of Robert Fergason Burley (b. 1835 [[Ohio|OH]] - d. 1920 Arkansas City, Cowley, KS) & Mary Law Burley. Robert & Mary Burley were married in 1857 @ Christian Co., IL. In 1922, Eli was employed as a rancher at 16519 Maine in the Moneta neighborhood of Torrance, SW of Gardena, CA. In 1895, Eli was employed as a plasterer in the Neodesha phone directory, and in 1909 as a preacher, and lived with his wife, and his daughters Ethel & Jessie. His residence in 1895 was 903 Grant, then in 1903 at 901, his father lived with him in 1895.
