In 1861, Charles was R.C., & 1871-1901 Anglican. In 1911, the family emigrated from Lyleton, MB to St. John, N.D., by driving across with horses, and was employed as a hardware merchant.
* Martha Jane Wood Reid +1923-1933+ (b. 1857 Elmsley, Leeds & Grenville, ON - d. 1947 Langbank, Melville, SK), daughter of Robert Wood (b. 1812 Scot.) & Margaret Wood (b. 1821 Ireland). Martha was raised Presbyterian.
** Ina Lillian Reid Cosgrove (b. 1887 Leeds Co., ON - d. 1935 Winnipeg, MB). Husband: Joseph Gibson Cosgrove (b. 1884 Napinka, MB - d. 1970 Winnipeg, MB), son of James Barnes Cosgrove (b. 1849 Hope, Durham, ON - d. 1931 Melita, MB) & Mary Mathilda Vall Cosgrove (b. 1858 Kars, Kings, NB - d. 1932 Melita, MB).
** Edith Margaret Kathleen Reid Greenway (b. 1897 MB - d. 1980 Jarvie, Whitecourt, AB), a schoolteacher in 1920 in Antler. Husband: Rev. See History of Hingham. In 1916, Reginald and his parents were affiliated with the Methodists, and in 1933 was self-employed as a violin teacher, and in 1940 in "evangelistic musical services" based in Oakland, California, while residing in Chicago, IL. He was later a member of the Gideons in Westlock, AB.
