For years in the West Chicago Assembly in Detroit, had a godly care for the assembly and was a faithful brother who knew right things. We believe he formerly was in the Lonaconing, [[Maryland]] mining district. His widow is in a weakened condition, should have our prayers."

* Olive May Bulock Spencer '''1954-1970''' (b. 1894 - d. 1970 Traverse City, MI) was the first one saved in the sixteen weeks of meetings in 1954 that ended in the assembly being planted in Sherman. Fred W. Mehl preached the Word at the funeral service, according to T&T 1970-5. Daughter of Homer M. Bulock (b. 1853 LaGrange Co., IN - d. 1919 Wexford Co., MI) & Caroline S. Davis Bulock (b. 1858 Clay, LaGrange, IN - d. 1949 Antioch, MI).
*** 1970-4 WiS: "Our beloved sister Mrs. Nelson Spencer was called to be with the Lord Feb. 26th, aged 76. Saved during meetings of bro. Mehl in 1954, later the Assembly planted and she went on well and was a "mother in Israel". Her family, in the Assembly, here have happy memories, remembering it is "only a little while" till we get home."

Ione was Methodist in 1968. David & Crystal lived in Nashville, TN in 1917.
