[[Charlotte Gospel Hall, NC|Charlotte Gospel Hall]] is a Reunited (KLC) exclusive brethren assembly located in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, [[North Carolina]] that has been operational since prior to 1972. 1962 when [[Joseph Hubert Claar|Joe Claar]]relocated to the area with his sales work, and started a meeting in his home until 1968 when it relocated to the lobby area of a defunct steel company, then in 1972 built its present location at 1125 N. Sharon Amity Rd. Joe was also founder of [[Books For Christians]], which published [[The Serious Christian]] commentary series and others, was and operated a bookshop in an early shopping mall. Other early influences include Mack Austin, with a former Baptist background, who moved to the area in fellowship for many the mid-1960's, and Richard Todd by the 1970's who served 25 years with this assemblyas administrator at [https://www.carmelhills.org/ Carmel Hills], a local retirement village founded in 1980 which advertises an average of 50 independent and 30 assisted living residents, and may besides Brethren, has attracted a goodly number of retired Billy Graham associates. Other notable residents have been included the late Eugene Vedder, a foundernoted Bible teacher.
