*** Ethel Margaret "Peggy" Elms Hawthorne (b. 1927 Vanc., BC - d. 2009 Burnaby, Vanc., BC). Husband (1949 @ Cove Cliff, BC): William "Bill" Hugh Hawthorne (b. 1923 - d. 2001 Burnaby, BC). Bill & Peggy's wedding was the first at St. Simon's Church in Cove Cliff, which was on July 20, 1949, the 55th anniversary of William & Annie Elms'. Bill's memorial was at East Burnaby UC, and his obit stated that his "thoughtfulness and love for others touched many lives".

Brett. 2nd wife: Peggy Elms. A. Owens officiated Art's memorial. *** Art was employed 49 years with the B.C. Sugar Refinery, which was founded in 1890 by Benjamin Tingley "B.T." Rogers (b. 1865 Philadelphia, PA - d. 1918 Vanc., BC), and a lifelong CoE, whose father was president of E.J. Gay's Sugar in New Orleans.
