* The Work family originated in the early 1400's in the Orkney Islands, with a long tradition of sailors. She was aged 19 years. She had been in delicate health for some time and for the past two months was confined to her room. Early in life she had united with the Presbyterian church, and so full was she of the love of the Divine Master that her whole life was a willing service in His cause. To know her was to love her and in this community are numerous young hearts heavy with grief at her death. She died peacefully, happily, and almost the last words she uttered, previously again expressed the great trust in her Savior that her pure young life had evidenced.
