Dutch McClure (William's father) was many years with the [https://www.facebook.com/CurryRunCRC/ Curry Run Presbyterian Church] in Armstrong Twp. (8 mi. west of Ind.). Ferd B. Park officiated Dutch's memorial service, unknown whether he was with IGH or CRPC. As per [https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-indiana-gazette-history-of-curry-run/424053/ TIG 1936-9-5], it was founded in 1837, a hive from Blairsville organized by J. James Reed (1781-1841) & R. Johnston, with possibly Robert Parker Johnston (1809-1888). Their first elders as William D. Anthony (1786-1856) & Robert Matthews M. Walker (18111773-18931842). It was initially pastored by A. Donaldson (supplemented by Geary), and followed by Franklin Orr(1825-1903) 1853-1858, M.Mathias M. Shirley(1829-1879), George K. Kerr Scott(1838-1889), Jacob L. Thompson, Sylvester Lycurgus Mechlin (1864-1925) and John Armstrong Walker (18531810-19341882), its present is Leonard Kinney. In more recent years, it has been Reformed Presbyterian denominationally, and has 8405 Route 422 Hwy. W, Ind., PA as its address.
