* Dr. James Clarke Rule (b. 1880 St. Louis, MO - d. 1940 Stockton, San Joaquin, CA). Dr. Rule moved to Stockton in 1903 where he opened an osteopathy office, after graduating from the Univ. of Iowa. He was a dean of osteopaths, and and died of a heart attack while on the Stockton Golf & Country Club, which he assisted in establishing in 1910. He played basketball with the YMCA All Stars 1910 which he continued many years, and directed a boys' work for the local Optimists. Wife: Katharyn Mae Peacock Rule (b. 1881 IL - d. 1964 Stockton, CA), daughter of Frank D. Peacock & Josephine Hume Peacock.

Wife (1931 @ Alexandria, VA): Leota Henrix Pearl Hendrix Rule (b. 1901 - d. 1984 Silver Spring, MD), daughter of Solomon "Bud" Wright Hendrix (b. 1855 Carter Co., TN - d. 1889 Johnson City, TN) & Nancy Ellen "Nannie" Scott Hendrix (b. 1861 - d. 1915). Bud served on the first generation of the police force in Johnson City. From +1920-1930+, Leota resided in D.C. with her brother James Blaine Hendrix (b. 1885 Johnson City, [[Tennessee|TN]] - d. 1947 Potomac River, Alexandria, MD) & Mabel E. Young Hendrix (b. 1897 Washington Co., TN). Frank who was employed as a salesman of retail flooring materials. In machinist inventor 1915, James Hendrix relocated to D.C. to accept employment as a machinist in the Navy Yard, and by -1947 he was supervisor in the sight shop of at the Naval Gun Factory there. He was commended for over a dozen inventions of machine attachments and fixturesfactory, with commendations including by from the Secretary of the Navy , for machine attachments & fixtures, particularly a power broaching press in 1918. Ghoca-Harris (b. 1871 Wausau, [[Wisconsin|WI]] - d. 1947 Stockton, CA) & Esther Grover Ghoca-Harris (b. 1879 Amherst Junction, Portage, WI - d. 1927 Stockton, CA). Allen Harris was a veteran of the Spanish-American War.
