On Jan. 30, 1878 in the [https://www.newspapers.com/image/76553508 Spirit of the Age] newspaper, it was reported that Reuben Gile "started for Florida" (from Sharon, VT) "last week where he expects to be employed as engineer".

Farquhar". From the article, "in the presence of a few friends, the couple were married last evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Smith, 12 Homer St., Brookline. The brother gave the bride away. Miss Ruth Fales of Malden was maid of honor and Henry Farquhar, brother of the groom, was best man... Next door, at 14 Homer St., a tidy flat has been fitted up, which is to be the future home of Mr. and Mrs. Farquhar... the groom is a carpenter by trade and active in the church work of the Plymouth brethren in this city.
