Manchester Gospel Hall is/was an open brethren assembly in Manchester, Hartford Co., [[Connecticut]] that was founded in 1905/1909 as a hive from [[Scranton Gospel Hall, PA|Scranton Gospel Hall]] in Lackawanna Co., northeastern [[Pennsylvania]]. Founders from Scranton included James McCormick, Thomas Eckle and William Emerson. Center & Main St in the old Town Hall. The earliest known correspondent was James Serpliss (b. 1879 Co. Armagh, [[Northern Ireland]] - d. 1938 Manchester, CT), which he served 1909-1935. In its early days thru 1936, it was known as South Manchester Gospel Hall.
