Good News Chapel was founded in 1935 by Arthur & Ceinwyn Stebbings, who were in fellowship with [[Pawtucket Gospel Hall, RI|Pawtucket Gospel Hall]] in [[Rhode Island]], moving to Attleboro to establish a printing business. As per [https://gnbc.org/about/our-history/ GNBC's website], they started meeting to break bread with Walter & Florence Jacobsen, and Eugene & Hilda Qvarnstrom. It was initially known as the Christian Assembly of Attleboro until 1950 when it was rebranded as its current name.
