In the late 1940's or by 1950By 1954, there was an open brethren assembly meeting in homes near Coldwater, Branch Co., [[Michigan]]. In 1955, it was meeting in the home of Edward "Ed" G. Dillon, southwest of Coldwater, with Sunday School meetings at the Lockwood Community Building. In 1959, a decision was made to merge the assembly with [[Lakeland Bible Chapel, MI|Lakeland Bible Chapel]] which met in nearby Quincy. The new location at that point was 124 S. Jefferson St. In the 1960's, Ed Dillon was serving as a commended worker, as per 1963-4 [[Letters of Interest]].
