L&L 1949-7: With the Lord: "Mrs. Edwin Curtis (Victoria Anne) died at Peterborough, Ontario, Feb. 24, 1949, following
a short illness. She was born in Bobcaygeon, Ont., on January 15, 1869 and lived in Peterborough for the past 60 years. She and her husband celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1947. She attended the McDonnel Street Gospel Hall and for many years was a very active worker. She leaves her husband, Edwin of 612 Stewart St., two sons, Oswald of Toronto, Jack of Peterborough, and two daughters, Helen (Mrs. L. S. Raper) and Greta (Mrs. J. K. Benson) both of Peterborough, and two sisters. William E. Belch and 0.G. Shantz of McDonnel Street Gospel Hall, conducted the funeral services."
