* WiS 1959-1: Wm. Ferguson had a short visit with the saints here who seek to go in the path, as they have learned from God's Word, looking for grace to “hold fast” till He come. He also visited Midland Park, N.J. with a nice interest in the Word."
* WiS 1959-2: Forthcoming Meetings: "Bro. Dobson in Steubenville, Ohio. Bro. Warke in Highfield Hall, Toronto, Ontario, Klabunda and Baldwin in Sarnia, Ontario, McBain and McCready in Byrn Mawr, Penna., George Graham in Akron, Ohio. Pray for these meetings and others going on."

Also, at the invitation of the brethren, I am giving as much time as possible to the former Kossuth Gospel Chapel, now the Hazelwood Bible Chapel. Ground was broken for the new building on September 20."

* WiS 1960-6: Steubenville, OH: "Saints here, after the lapse of a good many years, instituted their Conference again May first. This brought cheer to some of the older ones here to see reviving amongst His own again through additions to the assembly of late years and saints from Toronto, Ohio., Akron, Cleveland, McKeesport etc., attended. The two assemblies in the Ohio Valley here, Toronto and Steubenville, go along nicely in godly ways and we trust the Lord will
sustain them. The late David Roy gave them good help in the Word for years ere he “went home.”

The brethren of Akron have done considerable work in this district amongst the young and it is hoped some older ones may be reached."  ===1963===* WiS 1963-2: Correspondents' Addresses: Village of Norton, Ohio: "Joseph Bercaw, 4007 Hawthorne. Norman Crawford and John Slabaugh have had seven weeks of meetings here of late - nice interest and a few have professed. Bro. Slabaugh just did this in connection with his daily work, he is from Akron. We feel this is very commendable and this sort of thing should be encouraged." * WiS 1965-6: Akron, OH: "Bro. Alves was giving a few nights here and going on to Cleveland for a short visit, he was on his way West through Iowa and had been visiting the saints in New England." * WiS 1965-8:** Akron, OH: "Some of the younger brethren of this Assembly are much interested in openings nearby for the Gospel - an old building has been rented on S. Main St., in a rather poor neighborhood - they also are trying open air work etc., This is good exercise and does not weaken the Assembly as they continue at their daily toil. This greatly appeals to us as an antitode to assembly to assembly preaching.** Reader, W. Va.: Bro. D. Calderhead was trying this place again with the Gospel - one of the young brethren from Akron hoped to help a little while on his vacation. Persistent, godly work in a definite locality is God's way rather than spasmodic efforts which seldom accomplish much for God."** Akron, OH: "We purpose D.V. having our Conference again commencing with Prayer Meeting Fri. Sept. 3rd., at 7:30 p.m. Ministry will commence Sat. Sept. 4th., at 2:30 continuing over Lord’s Day and Monday, Sept. 5th., and 6th., Visitors freely entertained as in the past. Corresp. Joseph Bercaw, 4007 Hawthorne, Village of Norton, Ohio." * WiS 1965-9: Cleveland, OH: "Bro. Saword gave an appreciated call to the West Side and East Side Assemblies, also visited Akron on his way East to N.J. He expected to sail soon for Venezuela, depending on consular arrangements." * WiS 1965-10: "A good conference reported here over the Labor Day season, about eleven of the Lord's servants present to help in the ministry and the Gospel." ===1966===* WiS 1966-2: "The Assembly still continues the Children's Meetings in South Akron weekly, in a poorer district. Such is good work." * WiS 1966-3: Jackson, MI: "W. Ferguson had a short visit with the Assembly here, an old field of labor in earlier days. He also visited Akron and McKeesport, Pa." * WiS 1966-4: Cleveland, OH: "Two professed at recent meetings in Monticello Hall - grandsons of one of the early brethren here - we trust they go on to prove real. Bre. Maxwell and Crawford visited Akron for a week and went on to Jackson." * WiS 1966-6: Akron, OH: "Bro. Oswald MacLeod has been helping in the Gospel here lately, with local brethren." * WiS 1966-8: Cuyahoga Falls, OH: "Thomas Wright, 1571-17th St., for Akron Assembly. Please note the change." * WiS 1966-10: Akron, OH: "Our dear sister Mrs. Jennie E. Cunningham went home July 10, aged 80. Saved during tent meetings held in Barberton, near here, in 1948... bre. Also see Who's Who at Akron Gospel Hall, OH.  ===1967===* WiS 1967-1: Steubenville, OH: "Recent Conference was helpful and some very practical ministry. The Toronto Assembly joined heartily in this effort. Saints came from McKeesport, Frostburg, Cleveland, Akron etc." * WiS 1967-9: Akron, OH: "Late conf., notice Sept. 2, 3 & 4 as of late years — usual arrangements for hospitality and meetings. Hamilton preaching with him." * WiS 1968-4: Steubenville, OH: "Bro. Calderhead had a visit with the saints here in ministry mostly, we believe. Bro. Wm. Snider rented a building in Benton, Ohio, about 35 miles from Akron trying out this place." * WiS 1968-5: Akron, OH: "Bre. Dobson and McCullough were to commence in the Gospel here April 7th. Snider were in tent work in Berlin, about 40 miles from here. They had two weeks in Wellsboro, Pa., also." * WiS 1968-10: "We understand the Conference here was quite good, not too many of our older brethren present. The many Conferences demand much exercise on the part of us all that definite work might be done and messages from God given." ===1969===* WiS 1969-3: ** McKeesport, PA: "Brother Alves had an appreciated week here recently and also visited Akron and Cleveland, Ohio., when in the district."** Akron, OH: "The Childrens’ Meeting New Year Day largely attended, nearly two hundred present, with a number of the parents of children there." * WiS 1969-8: "Annual Conference commences D. V. with Prayer Mtg., Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. Ministry commences Aug. 30 at 2:30 p.m. continuing over Lord’s Day and Sept. 1. The Hall is located off Interstate 77 at Wooster Ave., Exit, North. Corresp.
