In +1982-1990+, Phyllis and her husband Dana sponsored an assembly in their home in Poplar Bluff, [[Missouri|MO]] with their daughter Maria, and relative Kenneth. In 1984, they were joined by Yvonne Meadows. By 1988, Ken's wife Lora had joined this small assembly. By 1990, Ken & Lora had relocated to the [[Greenville Meeting Room, IL|Greenville Meeting Room]] on the [[Illinois]] side of the metro of St. Louis, with their young family where they remained thru 1996, and Phyllis had relocated to Columbus by 1994. By 1998, both Ken & Lora, and Phyllis had relocated back to Poplar Bluff where they again had an assembly meeting in their home. He served as postmaster at Neelyville and Donipan, MO, retiring in 1985. He was actively involved with prison ministries, and the [[Gideons]]. Dr. William Vail officiated his memorial. Phyllis was later active with First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
