There was a Tunbridge Wells exclusive (TW) meeting room in Kansas City, [[Missouri]] that was founded prior to 1879, and active thru 1985. It is not known when this assembly closed. The assembly did not show up in the LoG's as a meeting room until 1889 or 1894, but John Wells resided in the area in 1879. There was also a meeting nearby in St. Joseph, which met in the home of J[[Railroad|railroader]] executive [[John Fiske Barnard]] (b.F1829 Worcester, [[Massachusetts|MA]] - d. Barnard1910 [[California#Los Angeles|Los Angeles]], California, who resided at the northeast corner of Edmond & 15th Sts. in 1878-1879. Barnard is noteworthy for while serving as the General Superintendent of the [https://ecommons.cornell.edu/server/api/core/bitstreams/9cf7b817-64b2-4147-96c9-b17e2bf0c635/content Kansas City, St. Joseph & Council Bluff] railroad, he accompanied [[John Nelson Darby]] during his final trip to North America to [[Iowa#Council Bluffs|Council Bluffs]] (Iowa) and [[California#San Francisco|San Francisco]], in northern [[California]], as reported by the [[History of the Work of God in America]] by P.F. Jensen.
From +1894-1895+, breaking of bread was in the home of Alfred Gill @ 72 South Valley St., KCKS. By 1896, it was meeting in the home of F.R. Griffith, nearby @ 66 South Valley St. There were also at least two brethren residing in KCMO at that point, that likely were commuting to KCKS for the meetings, P.H. Harris & J.H. Johnson. By 1908, it was meeting in the homes of C.E. Daughaday, first on Penn St., then Westport Ave. in KCMO. By 1911, the brethren had their own meeting room at 315 W. 43rd St., KCMO with three correspondents.
