Christopher Willis '''1889-1921; ''' (1889-1973 Toronto, ON), and their father John Livingstone Willis was a well-known banker (Royal Bank of Canada) in Canadian circles until his retirement in 1918 of which a longtime interest in mission inspired him a year later to join his son George Christopher '''1889-1921''' in missions. John L. managed a Port Hope branch of Royal from 1889-1906, then a Toronto branch awhile, then was appointed assistant supervisor for Ontario which he held until his retirement. He also resided a year or two in [[Quebec#Montreal|Montreal]], as per his [https://www.newspapers.com/image/419817718 obit] in the ''Montreal Gazette''. John L. & Anna Willis were both PB at the time of their wedding in Toronto in 1885. As early as 1881, John was in fellowship at the age of 17 at St. John, NB as was his mother Avis Willis-Davidson (b. 1851 NB) and step-father William J. Davidson (b. 1842 NB), and John's younger three siblings.
