** He was the final president at KLBC, serving in that role 2000-2005. ==Dr. James Naismith 1973-1983==
* James Theodore Naismith (b. 1923 Narsapur, [[India]] - d. 2009 [[Ontario#Toronto|Toronto]]), son of Archibald "Archie" Naismith (b. 1895 Carluke - d. 1989 Lesmahagow) & Alice Mary Cannon Naismith (b. 1897 Shalden, Hants - d. 1979 Falkirk).  

As per his [https://voicesforchrist.org/speakers/107/language/1?direction=desc&page=13&sort=full_title bio] on VFC (where 281 recordings of his sermons may be found): "At the age of five, James was entrusted to the care of a family in [[Scotland]].  He graduated high school at age 16 and university at age 21, becoming the youngest doctor in Scotland."  He was one of [KLBC's] founders and most loved teachers, although he retired from there when he was 60 in order to "devote himself more fully to the Lord's work" traveling overseas "preaching, teaching and encouraging God's people".  He authored many books and magazine articles.

No definite relation to the James Naismith (1861-1939) that is credited with the invention of basketball, although their ancestors did appear to have potentially crossed paths a few places in Canada and Scotland.

==Dr. Mark Stevenson 1990==
As per his faculty profile at the site for [https://www.emmaus.edu/meet-our-faculty Emmaus University], Dr. Stevenson was a native of Peterborough, and earned a Certificate from KLBC (1990?), then a B.S. in Biblical Studies at [[Emmaus University|Emmaus Bible College]] (now EU) starting his education there in 1991. He then pursued a M.Div. from [https://www.tiu.edu/divinity/ Trinity Evangelical Divinity Seminary] (TEDS), and completed a Ph.D. in Historical Theology at the [https://www.wales.ac.uk/ University of Wales].

He has served on the faculty of Emmaus University since 1999, with emphases on Biblical Studies & Languages, and Church History. With regard to the latter emphasis, Mark has served on the planning committee for the [https://www.brethrenhistory.org/about/ Brethren Archivists & Historians Network] (BAHN) for a number of years, with regular contributions to its journals and other publications, as well as conferences. BAHN encourages academic study and friendships of like minds on the subject of the Plymouth Brethren (Open & Exclusive).

Dr. Stevenson is also an elder at [[Arbor Oaks Bible Chapel, IA|Arbor Oaks Bible Chapel]], an open brethren assembly in [[Iowa#Dubuque|Dubuque]], Iowa.
