1904 Pickering & Inglis address book lists an assembly under California:
Pueblo, R.E. Furguson, 1016 Spruce Street.

Problems are:

  • There was no "Pueblo, CA" in 1904, Furguson living in CA, or a 1016 Spruce Street (except in Berkeley, which was called Berkeley prior to 1904.
  • In Pueblo, CO there is a house on 1016 Spruce St that was built in 1903
  • R.S. Ferguson (29) married Florence Crigler (18) in Pueblo, CO on October 11, 1908, officiated by Scott Anderson, of Pueblo;
    • Possibly related trivia: Marriage license reported by Anna L. Dodge, 615 Quincy St.

My conclusion is that "R.E." is R.S.' father, and lived at 1016 Spruce Street, where the assembly met in 1904.
