R.S. first name is Robert.  He and Florence had four sons (Emmett, Robert, Marvin, and Jon), and two daughters (Laura Colwell & Ruth Watson).  His son Jon was Dr. Jon Stanley Ferguson, born April 4, 1923, and taught in the Rich Hill, Hume and Bolton school districts in Missouri, and retired as principal in Liberty.  He died in 2003, with surviving nephew Steve Ferguson (Yuma, AZ), two nieces: Susan Ferguson (Campbell, CA) and Shelly Stone (Dublin, CA).
