August Hasse, Brandy, Virginia:
"Thanks to the Lord’s dear people that have made possible the gift sent to me through the Pioneer Fund. It will be used in the work of the Lord at Brandy. This is a hard field, but we are glad to know that there is nothing too hard for the Lord to do. There are not many people coming to the tent, but the ones who do come seem to take a great interest. I am glad to say that one young lady was saved last night. She first went to her folks and asked them if she could stay after the meeting and settle the great sin question. They said, by all means, yes. Glad to say that it was not long before she found Christ. A seeking sinner and a seeking Saviour are sure to meet.
Brandy is a small village right in the midst of several places that we have been in days past. This makes it easy for some of the people that have been saved in our tent to come to these meetings without travelling too far. The Word has gone forth for four weeks and we expect to keep the tent here until the end of the season. My brother has spent his vacation with me seeking to make Christ known. Brother Myer is also working in the tent. He takes charge of the singing and also spends much of his time visiting the people. Brethren pray for us."
