George Jacob Storrer

George Jacob Storrer was born in 1886 in Hielbrone, Germany, a son of Jacob Storrer. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1905, and by 1908 was a PB contact in American Falls, Idaho, and after marrying Maria M. Lina Horsch in Aberdeen, Idaho in 1909, he became a founding leader of the Aberdeen Meeting Room, ID, a Tunbridge-Wells Exclusive assembly.
His wife Maria was born 1888 in Germany, emigrated in 1908. By 1917, George and Maria had relocated to Walla Walla, Washington, where they would likely have been in fellowship with the Walla Walla Meeting Room, WA. From 1921 thru at least 1925, George worked as a clerk and salesman for a large grocery store in Walla Walla called Beck & Winans on 10 W. Alder. By 1929, he had started his own grocery store on 614 E. Alder, that expanded three times, later being managed by his son Eugene, and were bought out in 1972 by Fred Kaup who continued an Alder Street Market.
George died in 1958, and Maria in 1969, both in Walla Walla. pre
