Kenneth Ercil Engle

Kenneth Ercil Engle was born Nov. 9, 1924 south of Abilene, Kansas to Grant Ercil Engle and Mabel Emma Robson Engle. From his birth, he was in fellowship at what was known in his era as Grace and Truth Gospel Hall, later as Gospel Chapel. This open brethren assembly commended him in 1951 to over a couple decades in the Lord's work in the Philippines. He died in 2009, and is buried at Newbern Cemetery, just down the road from the old Engle family Holstein dairy farm, which was succeeded by his younger brother Keith. Ken and Keith planted the shelterbelt trees on the north side of the cemetery when they were teenagers.
