From BrethrenPedia
Lester Wilson, Winston-Salem, North Carolina:
"Your letter came to hand today and I desire to express my thanksgiving and deep gratitude in the Name of the Lord for the gift of fellowship enclosed. Eternity alone will reveal the worth of such tokens of love and interest. May the choice blessing of our God rest upon “The Pioneer Fund of Letters of Interest” to the furtherance of the Gospel in neglected places and to the stirring up and exercise of the people of God as to their privilege and responsibilities.
As to the work here we are much encouraged. I closed my meetings Sunday the 7th after seven weeks in that place, making weeks in Winston Salam (sic) this summer. I stored my tent away today. Will seek to get a building for meetings during the winter. Around 20 have professed during the summer and the closing of the tent meetings found some still in soul trouble. I am anxious to get started again as soon as possible so as to follow the work up.
I desire the earnest prayers of the people of God for this large religious city. That His Word may be blessed to the salvation of many and that the saved be separated from Babylon."
