Walter Eric Thompson

Walter Eric Thompson was instrumental introducing his brother Fred Allison Thompson to the Brethren in the 1910's, the latter of whom founded the Christians at the Gospel Hall in Augusta, Maine.
Family
Walter was a son of Archibald John Thompson (b. Jul. 21, 1855 Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, Canada and Hannah Jane Turner (b. 1861 St. John's, NFL - d. 1899 Revere, MA), who were married Jan. 10, 1883 at Hannah's father's residence, officiated by Rev. Percival, in St. John's, Newfoundland. The family emigrated to Boston, MA on June 25, 1888.
Occupation
Walter served as a private secretary to William Jennings Bryan, resigned for ethical reasons, due to inferred falsehoods about munitions on Lusitania.
