In 1923, Margaret Abrams' brother John McConnell (b. 1890 Munhall, PA - d. 1952 Grosse Pointe, Wayne, MI) traveled to Surabaya, Indonesia as a salesman on behalf of U.S. Steel Products, previously as such in the Netherlands & India between 1920-1923. Also worth noting there was a Rev. James McConnell in 1811 who was pastoring nearby.
