William James Innes

Dr. William James Innes was a general practice MD who founded an assembly in his home in 1936 in Pennington Gap, Virginia, four years before his death. He was born in August 1864 in England, and married around 1888 to Mary S., was was born around 1866 in Canada, whose parents were born in Scotland. William emigrated to Brooklyn in 1885, and they were married in 1887. They had one daughter, Jennie Delaney Innes (1885-1949).
Jennie married Robert Crichton (1881-1945) and moved to Atlanta where they had two sons: Robert Hamilton Crichton (1913-1997) and William Innes Crichton (1910-1978).
They had a boarding nurse in 1930 named Mary E. Thompson, previously from Virginia.
