William Jelley III

Overview
William Jelley III served as business manager at King's College 1947-1948, and Executive Vice-President 1948-1956 under President Percy B. Crawford, ending one year into their Briar Cliff move. He also served as correspondent for the brethren assembly that met at the school from at least 1947-1948, of which a Letters of Interest report can be found here.
Childhood
William was born September 19, 1914 in Essex, New Jersey to William (1888-1963) and Robina Burns Jelley (1890-1956). His father was a self-employed accountant, and spent part of his childhood in Ireland. His siblings were: Robina (1916-1999), Samuel (1918-1999), Marjorie (1922-2008), David (1925-2011), Alfred (1928-1998), and Edwin (1929- ).
Marriage and children
He married Hulda V. Lawler (1915-1994), daughter of Austin J. & Mildred Burton Lawler, and they had two children, Virginia H. Jelley Kuhlman (1937-2009) and William Jelley IV (1940-). In 1940, they were living in East Orange, New Jersey. William died September 3, 1990.
His son William Jelley, IV and his wife Nina were residing in West Long Branch, New Jersey, as of 2009.
His daughter Virginia, or "Ginger" as she was better known, was in fellowship with Chambersburg Gospel Chapel from 1971-2009, in Pennsylvania, as well as serving as a "dorm mother" for many Messiah College students, along with her husband Edward Lammert Kuhlman who served thirty years on faculty with the history department.
