John Alexander Ryrie (1827-1904) is great-was grandfather to [[Charles Caldwell Ryrie]] who developed the "Ryrie Study Bible".  John served as correspondent to [[Alton Ryrie Exclusive Brethren Assembly, IL|an Exclusive assembly]] in 1879 in Alton, Illinois, a suburb of St. Louis, MO.
