Breaking of Bread began in December 1957 in a local community hall in the same district with Gospel meetings scheduled to begin there in September of the following year. In 1960 the assembly sold their building at 5867 Cote St. Antoine Road, corner of Draper Avenue in NDG, and for the following seven years met in “a number of different places including private homes, the Y.M.C.A., a store front and a room above a store.”<sup>1</sup> Their newly-constructed meeting place was dedicated on February 12, 1967, taking the name Cote Saint-Luc Bible Chapel. In 1984 the assembly moved to Lansdowne Avenue in Westmount under the name of West End Christian Fellowship.
