Virginia "Ginger" H. Jelley Kuhlman was born September 23, 1937 in Newark, New Jersey to [[William Jelley III]] and Hulda Jelley.  Her father served as executive vice-president at [[King's College in New York (The King's College)|King's College]] and served as correspondent for a brethren assembly that met on campus 1947-1948.
She was married 50 years to [[Edward Lammert Kuhlman]] and she lived in Ossining, New York, and Ocean Grove, New Jersey, before moving to Grantham, Pennsylvania, where she was in fellowship with Chambersburg Gospel Chapel until her death in 2009, where her husband still fellowshipsremained in fellowship until his death in 2012.  
Virginia was a graduate of Hampden Dubose Academy of Zellwood, Florida in 1955, and [[King's College in New York (The King's College)|King's College]] in Briarcliff, New York in 1959.  She also attended Monmouth College, Long Branch, New Jersey.  She was an elementary school teacher (1st and 2nd grades) in New Jersey during the 1960's.
