Changes

Faith Community Bible Church was formed by a group of the more conservative members of [[Westview Bible Church, Pierrefonds, QC|Westview Bible Church]] in the spring of 2005. From the outset it met in leased premises at two locations, a private college in Pierrefonds, and a school in Beaconsfield seen here.

During these years, the assembly was seeking God's will, looking for a permanent home. The impossibility to secure a municipal permit to construct a church building necessitated the search for an already existing facility.  A number of buildings were looked at but nothing suitable was found. In the meantime, links were developing with [[Bethel Chapel, Pointe Claire, QC|Bethel Chapel]] in Pointe Claire, including a shared youth pastor. Beginning in late 2018, the elders of both assemblies engaged in discussions about the possibility of joining forces. The two congregations were merged in January 2020 under their new name, [[Bethel Community Church, Montreal, QC|Bethel Community Church]].
