<strong class="selflink">Alvin Trauger Landes</strong> was born February 6, 1926 in Pipersville, PA the son of [[Oliver Moyer Landes]] and Annie M. Trauger Landes (b. 1885) who were married on Nov. 1, 1902 in Bucks, PA. At some juncture, the family left the Mennonite community for the Brethren Assembly at Pipersville, then for [[Grace Gospel Chapel, Plumsteadville, PA]] where they raised their thirteen children.
