Roy has served on numerous service organizations established for the encouragement of the Lord's work in the province. These include, among others, News of Quebec, Christian Brethren Churches in Quebec, Programme de formation pour les Assemblées chrétiennes, and Conseils et services missionnaires.
In 2003, the Butterys moved back to Sherbrooke, in the Eastern Townships, building a house and continuing their ministry from this location. Evelyn passed away on July 1, 2020.
