[[William Geisbrecht Neufeld|William G. Neufeld]] was an elder with a heart for evangelism and Bible teaching at [[Fellowship Chapel, SC|Fellowship Chapel]], an open brethren assembly in Duncan, [[South Carolina]] that died in a plane crash on July 20, 2005 along with fellow preacher Don Welborn, and another, in Saginaw, [[Texas]].
He was born on Aug. 18, 1927, and was the founding owner in 1972 of a custom carbide cuttingmarried Ruth Elaine Halk (1924-tool manufacturer 1986), raised in DuncanPontiac, SC known today as [https://www.amamcotool.com/ AMAMCO Tool[Michigan]]. The current president, as well as Ruth was the marketing managerdaughter of Charles Halk, are both among the leadership at Jr. (b. 1890 [[Fellowship Chapel, SC|Fellowship ChapelEngland]]- d.1959 Clarkston, MI) & Dorothy E. Castleman Halk (1900-1993 MI). After his wife's death in 1986, he remarried Linda McCartney, a daughter of William G. McCartney, founding editor of ''Letters of Interest'' magazine, and ''Christian Missions Press''.
On July 20, 2005, William died in a plane crash along with fellow preacher Don Welborn, and another, in Saginaw, [[Texas]]. Memorial services were held at First Baptist in Tryon, [[North Carolina]].
