In the early 1960's, the Tonn, Renfro and Johnson families commenced the meeting room. It is probable that prior to this, some of them met at the meeting room in Dallas, and others in the DFW area.
In the early 1990's1989, several left this assembly to start an independent called Renton EB (see [https://www.awiis.com/ A Word In Its Season] assembly known as [[Windsor Hall, Denton Christian Fellowship, TX|Denton Christian FellowshipWindsor Hall]] (TW-P / Renton EB), including Paul Larkin Johnson, Jr. (1921-2007), who was a co-founder of the DMR, and his son Thomas Paul Johnson (b. 1950), and son-in-law Tim VanderHoek (b. 1947), and is still active.
